Amy Winehouse Launches Fashion Line

According to WWD fashion, Amy Winehouse is working on a fashion line with London label PPQ, designed by Amy Molyneaux and Percy Parker.

PPQ is no stranger to London’s hard-partying set: Last year, the design duo launched a line with outspoken “It” girl  Peaches Geldof. -WWD

Many fashion insiders are skeptical, wondering if Winehouse is too wild to “design” clothing for other people to wear.

But some fashion experts, like Sharon Haver have a different take.

If we clean up Amy’s image,  not to sanitized Hannah Montana ‘role model’ status but more to dye splotches rather than blood stains on super cute ballet flats, would it sell? I think so!
