Billionaire Cirque du Soleil founder Guy Laliberte will be Canada’s first space tourist.

Laliberte will head into space in September aboard a Soyuz rocket headed for the International Space Station…

Nothing says "Baller" more then launching yourself into space.

He will spend around $35 million from his personal fortune and has been training and undergoing medical exams in Russia for the past few weeks. He plans to use his 13-day trip to space to send a message about the importance of providing access to clean water for all. – Source

But this guy has been an adventurer from the jump.

As a young man, he dropped out of college to become a sidewalk performer. (Talk about pissing off your parents).

While living hand-to-mouth Laliberte picked up essential career skills such as juggling, stilt-walking and fire-eating while backpacking through Europe.

Training and networking with street performers from all over the world, Laliberte began organizing his own carnivals and fairs. He parlayed a series of short run circus nights into the multi-billion dollar circus empire Cirque du Soleil.
