The word is out that the next Brazilian bombshell to follow in the footsteps of Gisele Bündchen, Adriana Lima, and Alessandra Ambrosio is 18 year old mocha latte model Gracie Carvalho.

After making her debut last year at the fall Rio and São Paulo fashion weeks, Carvalho sparked an interest among fashion agents and by the summertime she was a hot item, walking in 35 of the 39 shows for the Rio Fashion Week.

After gracing the covers of Brazilian L’Officiel and editorials of Brazilian Elle and Brazilian Vogue she hit New York runways in the fall 2009 season walking for 3.1 phillip lim, BCBG Max Azria, Carolina Herrera, Ralph Lauren, and Vera Wang before hitting Paris to walk for Giambattista Valli, Kris Van Assche, and Stella McCartney.

She has also walked in the Jason Wu, Diane Von Furstenberg, and Miu Miu resort shows and you can expect to see her in campaigns for DKNY Jeans, BCBG Max Azria, Gap, Express, and Victoria’s Secret.
