As Forbes has already dubbed Jolie the most powerful celebrity of 2009, it’s not surprising she is considered the top earning actress.

What is surprising is that her former romantic rival Jennifer Aniston is right at her heels…in that category

Forbes estimates that between June 2008 and June 2009, Jolie raked in $27 million mostly from her profit share of the movie “Wanted.”

Thats a pretty mogulish move.

Jennifer Aniston earned $25 million for starring in “Marley & Me” and the soon to be released “The Baster.” She still gets a check from “Friends,” and endorsements deals.

Also on the list is the very distinguished Meryl Streep, who at 3rd place, earned $24 million last year.
