Jennifer Aniston: Stylish Girl Next Door
Posted by Racquelle Nash
What can be said about Jennifer Aniston? A hopeless romantic, funny, darling, and stylish are just a few characteristics the actress possesses. Since her divorce from Meet Joe Black actor Brad Pitt in 2005, Aniston has been getting such a bad rap but I can’t figure out for the life of me why. She’s still young, she’s talented, and she’s beautiful… so what is there to complain about?
Divorce happens, but great style stays the same. If anything, she is improving with age. I love her curves and smile now more than ever before. I just recently watched Marley & Me for the first time and I fell in love with her all over again!

She went from young actress on Friends to being gifted with opportunities such as The Good Girl with Jake Gyllenhaal and He’s Just Not That into You with Ben Affleck. Just as she betters with her movie picks, her style choices improve along the way as well.

She is one of the very few actresses like Reese Witherspoon and Michelle Williams, who haven’t let the power of their success get the better of them. Jennifer Aniston is a stylish and relaxed girl next door who we can all relate to whether it’s because of her fun side, a divorce, her great success, or just because of her sweet California style influence in the fashion world. Jennifer’s cool and breezy west coast fashion choices have certainly made quite a dent in fashion no matter if she is walking the red carpet or taking time off between making movies.

I love how casual Aniston conducts herself when she is out and about. She never seems in a rush and always appears to be enjoying life. When do you ever see Aniston swatting away the paparazzi like a spoiled diva? You have to be approachable in order to be liked in style. Women have to be able to relate to you when it comes to being a style influence and if you are a witch people aren’t going to like you or the way you dress. And Jennifer’s friendly attitude towards style and life is the very reason why she has won over the hearts of so many people, movie fans and style lovers.

Jennifer is all about being laid back and comfortable and a perfect example of Aniston’s laid back friendly style was when she was spotted in an ikat printed camisole by Tucker under a purple cardigan, a belted Degaine Jeans with aviator sunglasses, and tan sandals. Another one of Aniston’s on the go easy looks is when she throws on a white tee shirt or a black tank top and jeans with flip flops. She doesn’t try to be someone she isn’t. She never tries too hard or outdoes herself as some other A-List celebs do. Even when at the seashore, Jen is the ideal beach babe. She keeps it laid-back in cut off shorts, a light sweater, and the aviators she seems to never be without. As well as when she goes rock star for the day in tight jeans and a leather jacket or trendy in a nylon zip up and converse slip-ons, Aniston doesn’t disappoint.

And though I mostly see Jen in jeans, that doesn’t mean she doesn’t sport a dress every now and then. My favorite part about summer is that I get to wear dresses and flip flops so there is no wonder why Jen’s simply sexy hot weather style is the best around. The 40-year-old looked beach sweet when she wore a black and white printed strapless maxi dress with flips flops and she kept her accessories light with small hoop earrings, a long dangly medallion necklace, and a single bracelet on her left wrist.

Jennifer Aniston has always been viewed as the girl next door and I wonder if she likes the fact that everyone sees her this way. She’s been through it all from divorce but still manages to give it her all and produce blockbuster movies. During her days on Friends, she was just another young and new girl in the TV world, but nowadays we are being blessed with a real woman who knows just what she wants in life, especially when it comes to style.
