Richard Branson’s New Whip is A Submarine
Posted by Models And Moguls
Not only is Sir. Richard Branson planting the Virgin Flag in space….
But he’s global branding underwater as well.
Branson’s Virgin Limited Edition has just unveiled the Necker Nymph.
No that’s not a Mariah Carey album, but a three-person aero submarine.
Built by Graham Hawkes, of Hawkes Ocean Technologies, the open cockpit winged sub is more like an underwater airplane then a sub.
Conventional subs use ballast to sink. Just like an airplane uses air current ‘lift’ to go up, the Necker Nymph (named after Branson’s private Necker Island) uses water current ‘lift’ to go down.
You can cruise the deep in the Necker Nymph, while visiting Necker Island and chartering the 105-foot catamaran, The Necker Belle, for a mere $25,000 USD (Thats 2.5 tweets for Kim Kardashian).
That covers 7 day rental and training.
Don’t know about you guys…but we’re putting a Necker Nymph cruise at the top of our Mogul ‘to do‘ list (sorry again Mariah).
