Magazine Editors are disgruntled because the free fashion house swag and show tickets they use to get as editors and writers for print magazines are now going to ‘citizen-journalists’ sitting at home in their free designer bathrobe and bedroom slippers, blogging about fashion.

Lets take, for instance, a fashion blogger named Tavi.

Magazine editors were furious to see the 13-year-old blogger sitting in the front row at Dior’s spring 2010 couture show!

Supposedly the row (no pun intended) was regarding the giant bow she wore, which supposedly obstructed the view of guests behind her.

But the real issue was more than likely…envy.

“It’s mind-blowing that bloggers like Tavi are at the couture shows and being showered with all kinds of gifts. It has soured things a little bit for me.” - Sarah McCullough, Selfridges

GQ Editor Robert Johnson, has his own “theory” as to why Fashion labels like bloggers so much:

“Bloggers are so attractive to the big design houses because they are so wide-eyed and obsessed, but they don’t have the critical faculties to know what’s good and what’s not. “

I don’t know folks…sounds like hate to me.

Sounds like a rehashed version of the same complaint coming from the all the formerly spoiled, still corrupt, old-school media Moguls (Record Labels, Network Television, Hollywood Studios) who are having a hard time adapting to this New Media Revolution!
