Mexican Mogul Slim Trumps Gates As World’s Richest Man

For only the 2nd time since 1995 Bill Gates’ name is not at the top of Forbes’ list of richest people in the world.
This year, the title goes to Mexican telecom mogul Carlos Slim, weighing in at $53.5 billion.
Bill Gates comes in at #2 with a net worth of $53 billion while Warren Buffett comes in at #3 at $47 billion.
After last years “contraction”, Billionaires’ total net worth rose 50 percent to $3.6 trillion.
Not only are there more billionaires than last year, but the richest are richer then before (though not richer then ever).
The United States still has the most billionaires though American billionaires have not recovered from the recession as strongly as other countries’ billionaires.

Hey is it me or does Mexican Mogul Carlos Slim look like Dos Equis’ “Most Interesting Man”?
