According to Forbes, as of March 2010, the world has 937 billionaires.
That may seem like alot, but its not even a drop in the bucket when you consider a world population of almost 7 billion people.

Young turk Billionaires like Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg and Google’s Sergey Brin may capture the public’s imagination with their “overnight success stories“…
But that doesn’t mean you can’t learn a thing or two from the “slow rollers” or “late bloomers“….those who became billionaires after a life time of ups, downs and hard knocks.

The social network site took off almost immediately.
As of March 2010, Mark Zuckerberg is worth around $4 billion dollars.
Most billionaires start small and parley their way up.

This past February The Luxist reported on a mysterious Mogul who purchased 10 Aston Martin One-77 supercars, limited to just 77 examples, for $1.7 million each, amounting to $23 million total.
Insiders are now speculating the Sultan of Brunei bought the Aston Martins to add to his multi-billion-dollar, 7,000 car collection…the most expensive car collection in the world.

At #2 is Hollywood Mogul Barry Diller who received around $1.14 billion from IAC/InterActive and the spin off online travel site IAC.

Bonderman is one of the founders of TPG (Texas Pacific Group) Capital, an equity firm holding $48 billion in assets and headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas and is most famous for casually dropping $7 million for the Rolling Stones and John Cougar Mellancamp to entertain his guests at his 2002, 60th-birthday party.
